Unlike most Berliners alive I am so, so enjoying the weather outside. I love packing up mini-me and myself in cozy warm clothes and hit the road in the carrier or stroller, leaving for a cold breeze around the nose and return with rosy cheeks. I love the colours, the fog, the mudd and I love warm knits and my orange winter coat. And do I love it when Berlin's landmarks disappear in the clouds! Don't you?

Life has gotten a touch of normal, I am able to sit up straight again, we've been eating out a lot, I've had some time to photograph and paint (yes! this is new!) and even our sleeping schedule is alright these days. We love this new life, because it's so much better than the old one. (Do I sound lame? I don't care!) ♥

While working on putting on a few chubby rolls here and there, we, the family, are enjoying the last sunrays of a golden october. We love it. And we're tired.

Two weeks ago mini-me was born into this world. I can't believe he's been here for so incredibly long, it still seems as if he just popped out. Though I feel like I have known him forever, the evil face, the drunken smile, the little geeks and giggles while he's sleeping, the hick-ups, the yawning, those wide, wise eyes.

I'm totally in love. Excuse me.

I'm patiently waiting for this belly to magically turn into a baby. Very patiently.

My blood circulation is on an all-time low and I am getting dizzy very easily, so running around is getting trickier, though my energy level is still up and pumped. I've been going crazy renovating, painting, planning. Apartment is making big time progress, and we will actually move in next weekend. Mini-me, get ready!

I'm starting week 37 today and can't believe I've made it so far (while Turkish salesmen seem to know: he'll be here tomorrow! Everytime they see me...). I feel pretty great due to a lot of distraction (I've been painting kitchen cabinets all week), acupuncture (it's done miracles!) and the support of my dear friends. I'm still sleeping okay most of the time, though interrupted by pee-pee breaks every 30 - 120 minutes, I am still eating healthy (though mini-me is demanding more and more sugar lately and performing belly dances once I give in) and my weight gain is *remarkable* but manageable.

I wouldn't say I'm really nervous, but quite excited in a good way. I'm using my surprising energy for victims of procrastination (like cleaning, my taxes, old photos I've never looked at, invoices I haven't sent out...) and lots of ubahn riding (this is my 9 months maternity photography project, so stay tuned).

Apparently today they really started with the remaining work in our new apartment (bedroom floors, wall painting), so I'm full of optimism and expectations. And this also means we'll be able to move in soon.

Life is good to me these days. What else is there to say.

I've been so busy running around, being acupunctured, shooting, editing, meeting friends, cuddling my sister and her boyfriend and having fun that I almost forgot posting my iPhone diaries. Now I've got so many favourite pictures that I feel I'll have to split this post into two so i won't overwhelm you.

(And I do need to figure out what happened to my story like buttons... they just suddenly disappeared... erm, tomorrow. And help is appreciated.)
